Assistant Principal

I began my career in the Capital School District, where I taught grades K, 1, 2, 3, and 6, both as a regular and special education teacher. I spent 10 years in the classroom, with the majority of those years as a first-grade teacher. After 10 years in the classroom, I transitioned into the role of Reading Specialist and then into an Instructional Coach position prior to coming to the Caesar Rodney School District in the fall of 2023.

I earned my Bachelors of Science in Agronomy & Environmental Science from Delaware Valley University and my Masters in Elementary Education from Wilmington University. I have a certificate in Dual Language and Immersion Education from the University of Minnesota, a reading specialist certificate from Grand Canyon University, and my administration certification from the University of Delaware's Principal Preparation Program. 

When I am not at work, I am at home, with my husband and our two boys. Our family enjoys being outdoors on our farm, at the beach,  and watching our boys play baseball.
